Rick had many, many 60 minute time limit matches expire
Grew up watching wrestling in the 80's. I could never go to any wrestlemania's because we didnt have the money. I watched wrestling as much as possible and rented every wrestlemania that came out from the video stores. I loved watching Bret Hart wrestle. One of my favorites. Man, I miss that whole era of wrestling.
Ric Flair is a living legend! Seeing him & Bret The Hitman Hart wrestle was a dream as a youngster! My 2 favourite wrestlers back then! Decades of being the best & he would give you over an hour long thrilling matches like Ric VS Steamboat! Wow amazing matches & seeing Bret wrestle Ric was a iconic!
Bret needs to have a podcast
“There’s not many guys that could blow up Bret Hart”. It’s kind of a backhanded compliment, but in reality he’s right because the guy could Russell all day long. I mean you’ve seen him wrestle in an hour match against HBK. Bret Hart, and Curt Henning were two of the best of their era if not the best.
Not to mention he was hammered drunk the whole time. That's extra impressive
Hitman takes the top spot for me, but I can't deny Flair's ring generalship was right up there with him. Probably the two best ever at getting great matches out of mediocre talent.
I can't remember who said it but they pointed out that Ric has been wresting the same match for 30 years and originally he knocked it. But then he realized Ric has been wrestling almost everyday for 30 years every jabroni they put him in the ring with him and he could still go at his age, that's even more impressive then he ever gave him credit for.
“Fit.” = Coked out
Ric Flair , Killer Kowalski , Iron Mike Sharpe and Stan Hansen the Mount Rushmore of Motor Men .
We missed out . Bret and Steamboat were in WWF at th😂 same time and to my knowledge never met in the ring .
I don't know if he would do it or if he does, but I would hire him to work with young wrestlers to make them better in the ring.
But but but Bret is so spiteful 🙄 just shows if you actually ask him about something other than the people that did him wrong he has good things to say
"That really endured him to my heart." The word is endeared.
It’s great they get along
Punk Swallow That Bubble In Your Throat
The hitman could make the worse rassler look like a million dollars and that's saying something. One of the best if not the best technical wrestlers ever.
The first wrestling match I remember ever watching was Flair v Steamboat the one in the stadium The first wrestler I really got into was Bret Heart. Him beating Flair to me was a huge cause Flair to me was my dad's champ(it was actually Bruno but he loved Flair because they both heels) and as a kid growing up doing amateur wrestling Bret would do perfectly executed real stuff like a sit out switch to reverse a hammer lock. Him winning and guys like Flair being legitimate old guard guys who could do legitimate mat wrestling, they made it believe able. Because Hogan confused me Ultimate Warrior confused me As a kid I was like how is this guy the champion, is the weight difference so dramatic that a bum like Hogan just lay his weight on a guy like Flair or Bret?
What's the difference between Naich & Hitman? Flair is Gold. As in repeated classics. As in every Flair match is the same.
It's crazy we got to see Ric Flair versus Bret Hart, and Ric Flair vs Kurt Angle, but not Bret Hart vs Kurt Angle
Ric always buried Bret.
Bret is still delusional,he actually said "I beat him"!!!😂😅
I’m glad ric and Bret are friends now
Wooooooo!
I’m glad these two buried the hatchet and can talk about how great they both are in the ring.
"I beat him." He talks as if it were real. 😂😂
I know right? He thinks this shit is real. He will always be a mark for himself. I just don't get it with him. He always talks like this. It is not real. I worked for many years in the engineering Dept for several arenas and knew is was fake 40 years ago. LOL. Take it for what it is. ENTERTAINMENT :)
Bret hart was probably up there as far as always enjoying to watch him wrestle. As much as he knew he was the wwfs pretty boy, the guy could wrestle and you knew even then he was about the fans and having a good relationship with them. It made me happy to see him taking off his glasses and putting them on a young kid in the crowd. You know it wasn’t about just him but putting on a great show for those that paid to come see him. I am glad he was able to work through the tragedy of his brother which I could never imagine going through the way it happened as well. Thanks for the memories Rick and Bret. Two class acts
For a long time these guys buried each other, maybe it was the competitiveness of them both. Nice after all these years they respect each other. Two of the all time greats.
Ric Flair The Greatest Pro Wrestler Of All Time
Flair is wearing a hitman shirt while putting him over and there’s a video of Bret wearing a flair shirt and putting him over by saying “there’s never been a harder worker and if anyone could blow me up in the ring it’s flair.”
Brett seemed to be the type you would have to smack on the head and say you know the matches are already decided.
Happy to see these 2 are on positive terms now after slinging mud at one another for years.
How Hart vs Flair was never televised on WWE was a crime
Is this the same Bret that complained about having to wrestle a more fit Shawn Michaels in an Iron Man match?
What happened to Bret saying Flair was a 'routine man' whose matches were predictable and one hour of "nonstop non psychology"??
It would be nicer if he hadn't talked a lot of shit about this very same match before.
Love It!!!
For some reason..I thought he was gonna talk shit
It’s nice to hear Bret actually say something positive. He couldn’t help but turn it into a compliment to himself though.
And you'll still have bret haters claim he was overrated 😂😂
He'll always have those dripping greasy locks in my mind. Yes, shades included. Hitman, EoE Legend ✊
Imagine brett as a porn star she messed up the finish shes sabotaging the scene...she ended my career she gave me aids lmao 😂
❤
Now Ric Flair calls Orange Cassidy The Man... How the mighty have fallen.
Wow a video of Brett hart not whining like a bitch! This is super rare!!!
Flair wasn’t fit, Bret. It was the cocaine that kept him going in the ring. 😆
He Wrestled KING SLENDER!
Bret looks and acts like my grandma grace 97 yr old
Flair was called the 60 minute man...in the ring AND with the ladies!😊
Bret had legit endurance and conditioning. Flair had cocaine.
